My Mind On Food

And the battle begins:

The two faces of a beautiful monster;
My mind on food.

You had  me —
At hello.
So swift and seductive,
What can I say, you swept me off my feet.

Dive in (head first) blind, intrigued.

Don’t think.
Love.
Obsess.

Each bite better than the last,
Immersed in the lust;
The best things in life are unseen, that’s why we close our eyes when…

“One more,”
The sly smirk sliding across my face;
“Oh, hell with it!”

Screeching. Halt.
Hesitance.
Are we moving too fast?

Merely moments after,
after the fireworks.
“I already feel fat.”
Hatred, disgust.

Regret sets in.
Gave it all up in one moment.
Weak, anger … pure hatred.

When can I workout next?
Are my pants tighter?

I was cryin’ just to get you, now I’m dying ’cause I let you…
The loss of a love.

Worth it?

There’s a chill in the air, nobody could care how you’re caught up in the fight of your life.

Soon,
A slow fade,
Back.
Back to self.

This is me. I can breathe. Hello again, my love.
Healing, loving, accepting.

All for what?

It never stops, it never starts;
Ever revolving, a spinning top.
At once beautiful,

Still out of control.

The two faces of a beautiful monster;
My mind on food.
